18/10/2013American Pastor T.D Jakes made remarks about Kenya that did not please Kenyans.
As it is the trend, he was hurled on by Kenyans on twitter asking him to apologize.
On Sunday, the pastor, while delivering his sermon to people of God, spoke of how Kenyans were enjoying water because of his ministry. He also spoke of a hospital in Nairobi that was operating because of his ministry.
"And the natives all over Kenya drink water because of this ministry.. And the hospital in Nairobi survives because of this ministry." he said.
Many Kenyans made the Pastor a trend on twitter something made the Pastor give an apology statement.
In his statement he writes "An attempt in last Sunday's sermon to distinguish myself from an American television program portraying preachers in a manner that I found unseemly has caused some offense in Kenya. For that I apologize."
He however defends himself over the example he used on Kenya.
"The attempt was to highlight one well and one hospital wing in Kenya as one example of this ministry's worldwide efforts."
