Kabeberi 7s rugby tournament set to take place this weekend in Nairobi. The
governor for Nairobi however is more concerned about this tournament and does
want to fail curbing the enthusiasm of the fans.He had a press briefing yesterday at City Hall and Kidero had to ban alcohol saying no one will be allowed in the stadium with it, no one will be allowed to drink in their cars and alco-blow devices will be stationed around the pitch to check those drinking.
Kidero issued the directives on the consumption of alcohol during sporting events within the county adding that security will be provided during the event that will be held at Railways Club on August 2nd and 3rd.
It will be remembered that recently Mututho called for the banning of Masaku 7s after terming the side-shows that characterized the rugby tournament as modern day “Sodom and Gomorrah”.
