The Bongo Flava Tekeu artist Mr Nice has again developed a misunderstanding with his new manager. He was recently signed to a 1 year record deal with Candy n Candy records. He has so far had a disagreement with the management over certain issues.
Joe Kariuki the manager of the record label said he is concerned with the quality of music they produce. They also want a good reputation to their label. In this respect a disagreement had erupted over a new song Mr Nice was doing dubbed Akina mama in which Kariuki did not like.
Joe Kariuli said:
"I did not like the song and I adviced Mr nice to do a better different song than this but he insisted. We tried marketing the song in radio stations and it did no work well. However we ve agreed to continue with the contract because now he has understood what I meant."
Mr Nice initially was signed to Grandpa records in which his contract was terminated unconditionally due to what they termed as misconduct.
