Rober Kwaye of Western Stima defender was named the best player in their league match against Bandari that took place at Mbaraki stadium on Saturday.
Kwaye who had a splendid game credited his team-mates for his performance despite settling for a one-all draw and dropping two crucial points away.
“I played well but it’s courtesy of teamwork and we all tried our best especially playing away.”
He also explained how vital the match was to their top 8 campaign.
“We came here and knew how difficult the match will be. We knew getting a point from here would be hard-work and were prepared for a tough match,” he said.
“This draw is important to us. We play every game to enhance our ranking and become a place better because we want to finish in the top 8.”
The results means Western Stima are now 11th on the log with 31 points while Bandari climb to fifth with 39 points both with two games left in the KPL fixtures.
