The Mushrooms band is one of the oldest that our parents can sing and dance to their songs to date. The band however is bereaved as they lost one George Ziro who was their Guitarist. Posting on facebook yesterday 8th December the band said:
It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing on of our brother George Zirro Harrison (Them Mushrooms guitarist) today evening at around 5.00pm. We shall announce burial plans tomorrow. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
They have given today the burial plans for the Late Zirro and this is what they wrote:
Dear All, the following is the schedule of activities leading to the burial of our late bro George Zirro Harrison:
1. Family and Friends are meeting on Wednesday 9th December at 6.00pm in South C, Nairobi.
2. On Saturday 12th, there will be requiem service at the Umash Funeral House chapel off Mbagathi road, Nairobi at 11.00am, followed by the viewing of the body.
3. AT 12.00 pm the cortege will leave for Langata Cemetery, Nairobi.
4. There shall be a grave side service followed by laying the late George to his final resting place
