16/08/2013 The sky is the limit for Miss Karun.
She recently held an exclusive listening party for her upcoming self- titled album an event that saw the country's President Uhuru Kenyatta attend - talk about supporting local talent!
Well, the official launch of the album goes down TO NIGHT! But before that happens Karun always referred to as 'Baby'. – This is her first solo project since she stepped away from Camp Mulla.
The album features the likes of Kagwe Mungai and Fena.She revealed to us that she has the jitters saying, "I am pretty scared about the launch can't wait to get this done, I set a goal back in December that I'd drop an album and seeing it come to pass is quite thrilling"
The 'photograph' singer also talked about her favorite tracks from the album namely Rump, Interlude and Back Seat.
About going abroad to further her studies, she promised her fans that she'd still continue dropping us mix tapes and her final words to young people trying to get into showbiz: "Being in the limelight can be quite tricky there many flashy things that will come your way but don't let anything deter you from reaching you goals, be focused and you'll get there"
The official launch will go down at the ShiftEye Gallery, Argwings Kodhek, wait and listen to it. I suppose it will be a cool one.
