Mombasani Grandpa artiste Kidis is not a happy person due to allegedly Coast music fraternity referring him as Tanzanian. The artiste, who has been in the country for 17 years as he says, feels he deserves to be referred to as Kenyan, even though he has Tanzanian roots.
“I have been in Kenya since 1996 so I wonder why are people referring to me as a Tanzanian. I represent Mombasa through my music and not any other place,” he said, further explaining that even though he records in Grandpa Nairobi, he is always in Mombasa.
If he has a Kenya Identity card then he is Kenyan.
