Mediamax the media group that runs K24 and some radio stations in Kenya has gone on sucking spree as it restructures its staff.
Among those fired include;
1.Eric Nyakagwa (political editor),
2.Kamau Ngotho (special projects editor) and
3.Millicent Muthoni (Magazines Editor).
Sub editors and news reporters have also been axed and below are their names.
Rebecca Nandwa (sub editor) Robert Onsare (sub editor) and Rose Wanjiku (sub editor), Wanjohi Githae (Parliament news reporter), Maureen Ng’ang’a (news reporter) Soni Kaneke, Pocyline Karani and Racheal Mburu (court reporter).
K24 TV journalists have also not been spared and those who were shown the door include; business editor Solomon Kirimi, senior reporter Janet Chapia, Chris Thairu, Dancun Khaemba, Geoffrey Wachira, Wycliffe Orandi and Anders Ihachi.
It is believed that the list may grow.
