29/08/2014NTV's News anchor and The Trend host Larry Madowo was last week nominated to take the ice bucket challenge. He promised on last Friday's #theTrend show that he will do it in the studio and upload the video.
Many thought he will not take the challenge, but he has actually fulfilled his promise. However unlike the challenge in The USA where you donate to a ALS foundation, he donated to the Beyond Zero campaign where he gave KES 50,000.
Beyond zero campaign is meant to mobilize resources to fund pre-natal and post-natal access to Kenyan women giving birth.
Now he has nominated Bob Collymore, Jeff Koinange and Churchill Ndambuki to take the challenge.
